?Clean Sweep Columbus, a Great American Cleanup Event? is almost here and we are
still searching for volunteers to help us clean the Friendly City. LINK?d Young Professionals and
Keep America Beautiful are teaming up with area businesses and organizations for an all day
clean-up of Columbus and Lowndes County. As we walk through neighborhoods picking up
litter, leaves, and limbs our goal is to make the Columbus shine!
The event will kickoff March 20th at 9 AM at the Farmer?s Market, in downtown
Columbus. Volunteers from every community and walk of life are needed to make Clean Sweep
Columbus a success. We encourage everyone to sign-up as early as possible so we will be able to
map out routes for volunteers.
