The mission of the Quitman County Development Organization Volunteer Center

is to match volunteers with needed services in the local area. This center would

increase Quitman County Development Organization's ability to increase human

capital, empower individuals, families, and organizations.Quitman County

Development Organization's first goals would be to promote diversity, strengthen

communities, increase collaboration, and to improve quality of life in the local

Quitman County area.Quitman County Development Organization's second goal

would be to help build character, bridge the gap between the youth and the

seniors citizens, nuture and develop financial and literacy skills, recruit & train

youth today for a tomorrow and to make a difference in the lives of people in our

local communities.
