Multi-County is in need of volunteers to deliver meals to seniors in the city of Meridian.
Meals are delivered on Monday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Meals are picked up between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. at the Multi-County office.
Volunteers will use their personal vehicle and must provide valid driving license and current motor vehicle insurance. Volunteers can deliver meals with a friend or relative.
Meal deliveries typically take 2 hours.
Due to coronavirus, Multi-County is only delivering frozen meals to our seniors in the City of Meridian on Mondays only. There are 5 meals in box for the entire week.
Multi-county will be starting back giving out hot meals daily once the Covid-19 is over.
Volunteers age 55 years and older can receive a mileage check up to 35.00 per month through United Way of MS.
