Little Light House Central MS is a Christian preschool serving children with special needs, providing speech, occupational, ABA and physical therapy. Our mission is to bring glory to God by improving the quality of life for children with special needs, their families, and their communities. Providing educational and therapeutic services without government funding, we offer our services, tuition free to all who attend. Volunteers are the backbone of our ministry.
We are requesting 5 volunteers each day Monday through Thursday each week. Volunteers will assist in classroom activities under the supervision of certified teachers, associates and therapists. Activities include helping feed children lunch and snack, working with puzzles, crafts and purposeful play. Volunteers are never left alone with children, change diapers or take children to potty. Orientation will be provided by LLH before serving in the classroom and a background check is required.
